It was a day of celebrating colour, creativity and community spirit.

Organising Committee member Tenae Mott said the day went beautifully.

“It went really good, as it ended up being a nice day and we had good market stalls and a good amount of flowers,” she said.

The event featured around a dozen stalls showcasing crafts, plants, and homemade goods, as well as family-friendly attractions, including a jumping castle that delighted the children.

“Most of the families really enjoyed the jumping castle,” Ms Mott said.

A highlight of the day was the vintage fashion parade, where local models showcased dresses from different eras, with many sourced from the local make station in Woomelang.

“We just had some girls model some dresses from different eras, I suppose,” Mott said.

She expressed her gratitude to the community for helping make the day a success.

“Thanks to everyone who entered, attended and made the day a good day,” she said.
